Quick review
Wondering whether Krak is worth it beyond the bonus? Here is our honest take.
Chris' verdictYour personal guide, QuidsyKrak is a simple free debit card from Kraken, a crypto exchange trusted by more than 13 million people, and the cashback is a nice extra on spending you would do anyway. Keep the balance small, as it is e-money without FSCS cover.
For the sign-up offer, you only need to order the card and use it for a handful of everyday purchases. You never need to buy any crypto.
Get it from the App Store or Google Play.
The app then confirms beneath the code that you are on track to earn £10. Signing up without the code will not qualify.
Krak only lets you order the physical card once you have added £200. Ordering it is one of the steps to qualify, even if you only use the virtual card.
Want 2% cashback as well? Add £250 or more instead. New accounts get 2% on card spending for their first 30 days, but only while their balance stays at £200 or more. The extra £50 covers your 5 payments and earns you £1 back. Add more if you plan to use the card day to day.
No need to wait for it to arrive. You can add your virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay straight away.
