Some Quick Wins and Bank Switching Offers ask you to make one or more card transactions with your new account before your free cash arrives.

Here are the easiest ways to tick them off. Enjoy!

3 tips to tick off your card transactions

My top 3 tips are:

1

Pay for your food shop

Move some money into your new account before your next supermarket shop, then pay with your new card.

Need more than one transaction? Split your shop into a few separate transactions at the checkout.

2

Buy a £5 Amazon gift card

Buy an Amazon eGift card for £5 with your new card, then use it on your next Amazon order.

If your offer sets a minimum per transaction, buy one for that amount instead.

3

Buy an Everup gift card

Pick a gift card on Everup for a shop you already use, then pay with your new card. Gift cards start from £5.

  • At Everup checkout: when buying a gift card, choose Pay with card, not Pay by Bank. Pay by Bank is a bank transfer, so it won't count.
  • Klarna: this one doesn't work for Klarna, so use tip 1 or 2 instead.

You may love your new bank

Most offers on Quidsy are with very good fintech companies, so you'll probably want to use one or more of them as your everyday account.

Once you do, the card transactions take care of themselves. But if you're just trying them out, the above tips make it easy.
